Do I need an account to try it?
No. The editor, all four templates and the live preview work immediately, and your draft autosaves to your browser. You only need an account when you want to save proposals to the cloud or buy Pro — because Pro is attached to an account, not to a browser.
What exactly is behind the paywall?
Three things: saving and syncing proposals to your account, exporting to print/PDF, and generating follow-up emails. Building, pricing and previewing a proposal is free and always will be.
What happens to my proposals if I cancel?
You keep read and delete access to everything you already made. Cancelling stops you from saving new proposals; it does not lock you out of your own past work. That is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open your account and click Manage billing. That opens Stripe's own customer portal where you can cancel, change your card or download invoices. No email to us required.
